The ballast has a compact design and boasts a nominal life-time up to 100,000 hours. The ballast offers a large temperature range and ensures constant luminous flux irrespective of fluctuations in mains voltage. Various functions and safety features are included, such as: Intelligent Voltage Guard (overvoltage indication and undervoltage shutdown), Automatic start after replacement of defective lamps and Safety shutdown of defective lamps at end of life.
